“With rising energy costs, increasing concerns about power supply reliability, and a growing desire for sustainable solutions, consumers are now pivoting to solar energy to power their homes. We are committed to supporting them to do just that, while simultaneously helping Australia reach its broader net-zero goal,” Gaspar Xie said.
“This is a new space for us, but one where we see tremendous opportunity. Through the introduction of Anker SOLIX X1 we’re leveraging our deep expertise in battery storage and power delivery to help meet the growing demand in Australia for efficient solar energy solutions.
“Our R&D strategy is driven to address consumer needs and pain points, directly shaping our innovation and retail channels. By forging strategic collaborations with distributors, we are setting the stage for future expansion. Yet, at the core of everything we do, lies an unwavering commitment to customer service.”
Anker’s SOLIX X1 system features a compact and modular design that’s thinner than most home energy solutions and allows users to customise the system with up to six battery packs per system (30kWh/6kW) or up to six systems in parallel (180kWh/36kW).
Each battery pack in the X1 works independently during the charging and discharging processes, providing a 3% to 5% increase in energy capacity compared to traditional home energy storage solutions. An AI Forecast feature automatically triggers power backup ahead of a storm. During blackouts, the X1 will continue to work with PV panels to power the home, switching to off-grid mode in less than 15 milliseconds.
Compared to other solutions on the market, the X1 claims to offer 20% faster charging from 0% to 90% storage capacity, and 32% faster discharging from 100% to 0% capacity. It operates in temperatures ranging from -20°C to 55°C and is backed by a 10-year warranty. It also features a smart battery management system, and IP65 outdoor protection.
