Arlo is introducing the Wired Floodlight Camera, an all-in-one security solution built on the award-winning Wire-Free Floodlight.

With a direct power source for uninterrupted security and hands-free maintenance, the Wired Floodlight Camera delivers enhanced visibility and protection of outdoor spaces day or night.

Key features include an all-weather design, 160-degree field of view, 2K resolution and ultra bright 2,000 lumens of light, plus articulating lights and an adjustable camera with motion detection.

Thanks to noise-cancelling audio, households can hear and speak to visitors with clear two-way audio, while Arlo Foresight allows users to view four seconds of video prior to every motion-triggered recording.

The Wired Floodlight Camera can connect with a range of third-party smart home platforms including Amazon Alexa, IFTTT, and Google Home for easy interaction, automation, and control.

Using the Arlo Secure app, households can receive instant notifications for motion detection and sound alerts, automate lighting schedules based on time of day or activity, and trigger the integrated siren to ward off intruders.

Combined with an Arlo Secure subscription plan, users have complete security and customised control with advanced computer vision AI and recognition engines. Arlo Secure Basic and Secure Plus subscriptions provide the ability to view, save and share 30 days of video cloud storage and events, filter unwanted notifications and create zones for customised alerts, and respond to rich notifications or view an animated video preview through a device’s lock screen.

Exclusive to the Arlo Secure Plus plan, the Wired Floodlight Camera can recognise packages, animals, known people and known vehicles through Arlo’s advanced object detection backed by Arlo Intelligence. Train Arlo AI to create personalised detections, as well as recognise certain objects or changes in view to trigger custom notifications.

The Arlo Wired Floodlight Security Camera in white will initially be available online via major electrical retailers and the Arlo Australia website from 11 November, then available in stores in January 2025. A black variant is available exclusively via Bunnings and the Arlo Australia website. Both models can be purchased for RRP $249.
