ASUS has showcased its latest OLED lifestyle laptop line-up, designed to make OLED technology more accessible for Australian consumers, encompassing 24 models in 2023 – compared to just three OLED models launched in 2021.

The line-up spans ASUS’ three product ranges – Studiobooks for professional creators, Zenbooks for those seeking performance and aesthetics, and Vivobooks designed for everyday users and creators – led by the flagship Zenbook S13 OLED, which claims to be the world’s slimmest OLED ultraportable laptop.

“We first launched the world’s most comprehensive lifestyle line-up with OLED in 2021 and  in 2023, we’re focused on continuing to be the market leader in OLED laptops,” ASUS Australia head of consumer, Bradley Howe said.

“Incredible technologies are often aspirational but rarely are they available to the masses. ASUS has committed to updating its three key lifestyle product ranges, ensuring more Australians have an opportunity to access an OLED display at various price points. As the content creator market continues to grow, we recognise all Australians are creators in their own right, so we are proud to be able to provide OLED technology to support this market.”

ASUS has included its Lumina OLED technology across the range, which promises to deliver more accurate, adaptive, and reliable features than traditional OLED displays. Beyond the benefits of high contrast and wide colour range of OLED, ASUS Lumina OLED technology has TÜV Rheinland low blue-light certification to reduce eye strain from prolonged exposure.

The Studiobook range meets the visual and performance needs of various professions and use cases, including photographers, designers, animators, engineers and architects with NVIDIA RTX Graphics ensuring best-in-class graphics capabilities.

The flagship ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED (pictured above) features a mineral black finish with a stepwise design to accommodate slimmer screen bezels, make room for rear air vents and offer any viewing angle up to 180 degrees.

The device comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i9-13980HX processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 Series Laptop GPU, up to 64GB of upgradeable memory and ultrafast storage. The certified colour-accurate 16-inch 3.2K 120 Hz 3D OLED display provides unrivalled visuals with stunning detail and vivid colours, as well as adaptive dimming technology. A large, stylus-compatible haptic touchpad and ASUS Dial rotary control offer greater precision and control in apps.

ASUS has also developed the ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED – the world’s first 3D OLED creator mobile workstation with a 3.2K 120 Hz 3D OLED display to view 3D photos, videos, or games, without the need for glasses or headsets. This is made possible by ASUS Spatial Vision technology, which allows 2D visual content to be converted to 3D in real-time.

The ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 OLED is available now from RRP $4,999. Local availability and pricing for the ASUS ProArt Studiobook 16 3D OLED is yet to be announced.

Partnering with Intel, ASUS has redesigned the Zenbook range for the most powerful line-up yet, serving the needs of aesthetic and performance-focused individuals, typically aged between 25 and 45 years. A key feature in the Zenbook range is NanoEdge Displays, which offer ultra slim bezels and an anti-glare coating.

The flagship ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED is the world’s slimmest OLED ultraportable laptop and the most eco-friendly Zenbook to date with a design made using recycled metals and plastics. With a thin 1cm profile and 1kg chassis, the Zenbook S 13 OLED is finished in a new Basalt Gray or Ponder Blue. The Basalt Gray model features the exclusive ASUS Plasma Ceramic Aluminum material which helps to increase wear resistance, corrosion protection, thermal management, hardness, and lifespan.

This Evo-certified Zenbook harnesses the power of up to a 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1 TB PCIe 4.0 x4 SSD. There is also a full set of I/O ports and 63Wh battery. The ASUS Zenbook S 13 OLED is now available from RRP $2,099.

The Vivobook range seeks to meet the needs of everyday users as an entry point to OLED technology. The ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED is a 15-inch laptop with a 2.8K OLED display and 16:9 aspect ratio. Featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 7730U processor, it is ideal for multi-tasking and thanks to 120Hz motion clarity, fast moving visuals are smoother and clearer. The ASUS Vivobook 15X OLED is now available for RRP $1,399.
