Australian hurdler Michelle Jenneke has partnered with Gibson Innovations to become the ambassador for the Philips ActionFit range of headphones. The partnership will see Jenneke wearing, using and promoting the headphones through a variety of marketing initiatives.
The Philips ActionFit range is a leader in the growing sports headphones category and this ambassadorship will drive awareness of the range in the lead-up to Christmas and the summer period. Jenneke will be promoting it through retailer point-of-sale and catalogue, advertising, social media and a range of consumer and retailer events during this period.
Jenneke has already qualified for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio in the 100 metre hurdles and has just returned from the World Championships in Beijing where she made it through to the semi-finals in this event.
“Enjoying my training is so important and music plays a big part in this. With a year to go until Rio, keeping my training fresh and enjoyable will be crucial over the next 12 months, so teaming up with Philips ActionFit was an easy decision for me,” Jenneke said.
“I am also looking forward to working with the team at Philips Actionfit on a range of activities that will raise awareness about health and wellness.”
Gibson Innovations Australia and New Zealand business leader, Tracey Duff said, “Michelle is a wonderful Australian role model who has succeeded on the world stage and appreciates the need for music, fun and enjoyment in her training. She brings this key message to life, epitomises our brand values and we are delighted to have her on our team to endorse and promote Philips ActionFit.”
