SYDNEY, NSW: Sony has begun to back its 3D campaign by launching a new TV commercial that illustrates ‘A perfect world’ in 3D.
The commercial, which aired for the first time last night, uses a landscape, ballerinas, and a city emerging from a Bravia screen to give the illusion of 3D.
For consumers who require the actual 3D experience Sony is travelling to different Westfield shopping centres around Australia. The road show begins this week at Westfield Parramatta, offering consumers the opportunity to personally test the experience.
Meanwhile, the company continues to flesh out its 3D product line by releasing earlier this month 3D capable digital cameras in the Cyber-shot range.
“Today Sony amplifies its 3D story, taking it from the lounge room into the hands of everyday camera users,” said Katsuya Watanabe, marketing manager for digital imaging at Sony Australia.
“Innovation plays a big role in Sony’s product development and we continue to push the boundaries in digital photography with the introduction of our 3D models. The new Cyber-shot cameras signal the future for electronics products, with 3D capability as a core feature.”
