Beko Australia has announced the winners of its induction cooktop promotion, which ran from 1 May to 30 June, 2024.

Customers who purchased any Beko induction cooktop during this period received a VISA cashback and automatically entered into a prize draw for a unique culinary experience.

Four winners were awarded a Gathar Cooking Lesson experience, valued at up to $1,700. This exclusive, in-home lesson, catered for four people, was designed to showcase the benefits of Beko induction cooktops.

Beko Australia national sales manager, Eddie Gaymer said, “Switching to an induction cooktop, whether it’s an upgrade or for a new kitchen, can feel daunting for homeowners. That’s why we saw this as a great opportunity for a chef to teach them how to get the most out of the advanced features Beko induction cooktops offer.”

Beko NSW area manager, Andrew Hodgson added, “People loved that this promotion offered something different—an experience. It wasn’t limited to major cities either. One of our winners was from Muswellbrook, and it was refreshing that Gathar was able to work with us in regional areas.”

Among the winners was Kay Stein, who manages the Scone Motor Inn and serves as Treasurer for the Upper Hunter Country Tourism Association. She hopes to schedule the experience before Christmas to celebrate with her daughter, who recently moved out.

Tanya Nichols (Muswellbrook Betta) & Kay Stein (Beko).

Tanya Nichols, co-owner of Muswellbrook Betta, where Stein made her purchase, expressed her joy at the local win, saying: “A lot of effort went into this sale, but it was all worth it in the end.”

Other prize winners hailed from McLaren Vale, SA (via Appliances Online), Greensborough, VIC (Appliances Online), and Springwood, QLD (Underwood Betta).

This promotion set the stage for Beko’s next campaign, currently running until 30 September, 2024. Customers who purchase any Beko built-in oven or freestanding cooker have the chance to win one of four private chef experiences, valued at up to $2,500. Alongside this, they receive a VISA cashback, with prize winners drawn on 1 November, 2024.

“We wanted to create a unique promotion that gave new Beko appliance owners an opportunity to enjoy a hands-on learning experience while having some fun; much like our ‘Dinner with Friends’ cooking training format with our retail partners,” Gaymer added.

Beko Australia and New Zealand trade marketing manager, Kym Thornton commented, “We always aim to provide our retail partners with fresh and engaging promotions to help drive Beko sales. The insights from our 2024 promotions will guide us in creating more exciting opportunities for 2025.”
