Bosch has recalled its freestanding dual gas/electric cooker with electric oven and gas cooktop (model no HSV745005A/02) that was sold from January 2009 to December 2012. This recall extends an earlier recall of related cooker models HGV74W255A and HGV74W355A.
Under certain circumstances, the adaptor between the gas supply and the appliance may crack causing a potential gas leak, which in turn could lead to an explosion.
Consumers should cease using any affected model immediately, shut off the gas supply to the appliance and contact BSH Home Appliances to arrange the repair of their cooker on 1300 955 742 or via www.gascookingsafety.com. BSH will organise an authorised and trainer repair agent to replace the relevant component.
