Breville is strengthening its Black Stainless Steel collection in time for Christmas, adding its flagship manual espresso machine, the Oracle Touch BES990BST and Combi Wave 3-in-1 BMO870BST to the line-up.
Breville describes the Black Stainless Steel collection as a warmer and darker interpretation of stainless steel with a moody metallic finish that creates a sophisticated aesthetic and offers a modern alternative to traditional stainless steel.
According to Breville category manager for coffee, Athena Kalos, kitchens now incorporate more textures, matte and high gloss finishes with a focus on minimalism and simplicity.
“New trends point to block colours in different tones, textures and finishes, and we expect benchtop appliances to continue to grow as consumers look to refresh and upgrade their kitchen,” she told Appliance Retailer.
“The Oracle Touch provides automation at every stage of the coffee making process and is perfect for consumers looking to refresh their kitchen space in the latest colour trend from kettle and toaster to coffee machine.
“The Combi Wave 3-in-1 is an air fryer, convection oven and microwave in one. It features an Element iQ system, smart pre-sets, fast combi function and the ability to cook food from frozen. With a power smoothing inverter, it is 80% quieter when operating and offers a 32-litre capacity and soft close door.”
