Breville has introduced the new Oracle Jet coffee machine – 10 years after the launch of its signature Oracle innovation – setting a new standard in performance, automation and speed through a number of upgrades.

The Oracle Jet incorporates the ThermoJet heating system, a digitally printed heating circuit that’s up to 32% more energy efficient and allows the machine to heat up in seconds. The ThermoJet heated group head delivers a consistent 93°C extraction – on par with commercial machines – and allows users to customise the brew temperature in one-degree increments.

A fully integrated Baratza European Precision Burr automatically grinds, doses and tamps, offering 45 grind settings. Breville’s AutoMilQ technology with alternative milk settings, enables users to create smooth microfoam with oat, almond, soy and dairy milk.

Featuring a five-inch HD touch screen in both dark and light modes, the Oracle Jet allows users to swipe and select from 10 pre-set drinks including new Cold Brew and Cold Espresso options.

Barista Guidance provides real-time feedback on extraction, prompting improvements on grind size. A new Auto Queue feature allows users to queue the next step to automatically start steaming milk or extracting espresso.

The Oracle Jet is Breville’s first Wi-Fi-enabled coffee machine, allowing for future integrated technology upgrades. In the upcoming summer 2024 software update, there will be new additions on the drink carousel screen, including an espresso martini recipe and various cold cocktail recipes.

Breville portfolio general manager – coffee, Con Psarologos said, “Breville changed the game for home espresso with the launch of the Oracle back in 2014, and it’s a privilege to now bring to market the next generation in Oracle innovation. 10 years in the making, the Oracle Jet is the ultimate expression of home espresso technology and innovation. We’ve taken the best of the original Oracle and added a host of refined upgrades to make it our most advanced, intuitive and efficient to date.”

Available in three colours – Brushed Stainless Steel, Sea Salt and Black Truffle, the Oracle Jet features updated lighting, a seamless glide wheel and easy-to-clean parts.

The Breville Oracle Jet is available for RRP $3,699 from participating retail partners and the Breville website.
