At the 2014 Good Food & Wine Show De’Longhi is bringing its entire stable of small kitchen appliance brands together for the first time, positioning Kenwood, De’Longhi and Braun under one banner.
At the three day show which kicked off in Sydney this morning, general manager Tom Mitchell said the stand was like “showing off the family”.
“It is the first time that De’Longhi, Kenwood and Braun have partnered in a group message anywhere in the world, so it’s an exciting time for us.”
The show is an opportunity to raise consumer awareness of the three brands and provides an important chance to engage which consumers with hands on demonstrations.
The brand is also pushing the “Braun is back” slogan, to get Braun appliances back at the front of consumers’ minds.
The Good Food & Wine show is De’Longhi’s first show in four or five years, as business priorities have been elsewhere. But as the brand told Appliance Retailer, they decided it was time to “go big”.
Undoubtably the star of the De’Longhi, Kenwood, Braun trifecta is the Adriano Zumbo Kenwood Cooking Academy. After a successful run of classes in Melbourne it is now Sydneysiders’ chance to learn how to make the trademarked ‘Zumbaron’.
The classes sold out shortly after tickets went on sale, however they are still attracting plenty of onlookers.
