TCL has taken the wraps off its latest QLED TV line-up at CES Las Vegas, unveiling three new models – the 8K QLED X9 in the X Series and the C815 and C715 in the C Series. The range is expected to launch in Australia in April.
The 8K QLED X9 will be available in 65- and 75-inch, featuring Quantum Dot display technology and incorporating Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, it also offers local dimming technology for enhanced contrast and more vivid images. It is certified by IMAX Enhanced for the highest quality in-home entertainment experience.
The C815 in 55-, 65- and 75-inch and the C715 in 50-, 55- and 65-inch feature Quantum Dot display technology, are powered by Dolby Atmos, supported by Dolby Vision, and deliver 4K HDR imagery. In addition, smart functionality is powered by TCL AI-IN and the latest Android OS.
Both the X Series and C Series incorporate far-field voice control for users to interact with their TVs using their voice.
At CES, TCL also announced its next-generation display technology – Vidrian Mini-LED – the world’s first TV backlight with driving semi-conductor circuitry and tens of thousands of micrometre class mini-LEDs directly infused in a crystal-clear glass substrate. Mini-LED technology rivals the contrast, luminance and long-life performance of LCD LED displays.
