There were plenty of robots at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, but one in particular made a cup of coffee.
ADAM from Richtech Robotics is a dial arm robotic system with multi-jointed arms that allow it to move in all directions to pick and place objects while handling multiple assignments simultaneously.
Tech Guide got up close to ADAM and watched it make a coffee from start to finish with precise movements required to pour milk, swirl and tap the heated milk, and shake chocolate powder on top.
Its Intel AI depth sensor camera not only helps coordination but also allows ADAM to judge distances. It can provide complete and autonomous service for repetitive tasks – like making coffee.
ADAM’s programmable base can also be used as a bartender to mix and serve cocktails.
