The Consumer Technology Association (CTA) has confirmed that the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) will return to Las Vegas for an in-person event from January 5 to 8, 2022. The live event will be supported by a digital experience for those unable to attend.
Around 1,000 companies have committed to showcase their latest technology in Las Vegas including Amazon, Dell, Google, IBM, Intel, Lenovo, LG, Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony.
CTA president and CEO, Gary Shapiro said, “We are thrilled to return to Las Vegas – home to CES for more than 40 years – and look forward to seeing new and returning faces. Hundreds of executives have told us how much they need CES to meet new and existing customers, find partners, reach media and discover innovation.”
The CES anchor desk, which made its debut at the all-digital CES 2021, will travel to Las Vegas and connect the online audience with exhibitors, conference sessions, keynotes and product announcements from the live event.
The CTA is reviewing guidelines for Covid-19 safety measures in addition to state and local guidelines. Plans will be adapted according to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
