ASUS has showcased its range of AI-enabled products at CES 2025 with accessibility and environmental responsibility at the forefront of its latest innovations.
ASUS is entering a new chapter focused on making AI-driven technology more accessible and impactful, according to the company’s co-CEO, Samson Hu.
“At CES 2025, we’re taking our commitment to democratising AI further by being one of the first brands to offer a line of Copilot+ PCs that promote exceptional value and outstanding innovation,” he said.
The ASUS Zenbook A14 claims to be the world’s lightest Copilot+ PC at under 1kg and is the product line’s first Qualcomm Snapdragon model. A high-capacity battery of up to 70Wh is coupled with over 32 hours of battery life.
For the first time in the Zenbook series, the entire chassis is crafted from Ceraluminium, an ASUS-exclusive material promising greater durability and protection.
Equipped with the latest Snapdragon X series processors with a Qualcomm Hexagon NPU delivering up to 45 TOPS for an enhanced Copilot+ experience. AI features include Live Captions, Cocreator in Paint, Generative Fill in Paint, Restyle Image and Image Creator in Photos, plus super resolution in Photos with more features to come.
The dual fan design maximises thermal performance for improved efficiency, while enhanced privacy features include adaptive lock and multi-person detection for added security.
The Vivobook 14 and 16 laptops are equipped with the Snapdragon X processor that boasts 45 NPU TOPS AI processing power, delivering a 44% performance boost over the previous generation and up to 19.8 hours of battery life.
AI-enabled features include Cocreator in Paint, and Generative Fill and Erase for photo edits. The ASUS-exclusive StoryCube application automatically categorises files based on content, while Live Captions provide real-time subtitles.
With security at the forefront, the Microsoft Pluton security processor offers additional protection and the AI camera locks the device when the user steps away.
Other products announced at CES 2025 include the ExpertBook B5 and B3 enterprise laptops for government, education and corporate sectors, the ExpertCentre B900 series – the first commercial AI desktops from ASUS, and next-generation AI Mini PCs including the ASUS NUC 15 Pro and ASUS ExpertCentre PN54, the first and only AMD-powered ASUS AI Mini PC.
