As part of CES 2025, Hisense has unveiled a range of developments including upgraded Mini-LED technology and more big-screen TVs than ever before.
TriChroma LED is Hisense’s flagship display technology, using a Hi-View Engine chipset to allow Mini-LEDs to individually display colours of red, green and blue. This results in more colour accuracy, at 97% of the BT.2020 colour space, which is the best colour gamut ever attained in a Mini-LED display. TriChroma LED also reduces energy consumption by 10%.
At CES 2025, Hisense also revealed its new Micro-LED big screen entertainment display. The 108-inch Micro-LED (108MX) uses an active-matrix glass-based display resulting in higher resolution and lower energy usage. The 136-inch Micro-LED (136MX) TV features AI perception picture chipsets to display at 3.58m wide.
Expanding on the range of big-screen TVs, Hisense will also launch the largest TV of the ULED X range in 2025, the 116-inch TriChroma LED TV (pictured). The product features a 115.5-inch 4K LCD anti-glare display, and produces 10,000 nits peak brightness through support from 21,000 TriChroma LED. A 6.2.2 surround sound system, with speakers designed by La Défense architecture, produces a 240-degree sound field.
Hisense is set to release more 100-inch TVs in 2025, as well as developing the accessible U6 range to ULED quality. The U6 series is refreshed with Dolby Vision IQ and QLED Quantum Dot for a ULED certification.
The U8 series will include a new 100-inch product, to complement the range of 55- to 85-inch TVs. This new model achieves 5,000 nits of brightness, 165Hz capabilities, 1,500+ dimming zones, and an enhanced Game Mode Pro experience.
The U7 range will also see upgrades this year, with customers offered a selection of screen sizes between 55-inch and 100-inch. The peak brightness has been pushed to 2,000 nits, and every TV in the U7 series will now support Game Mode Ultra.
Powered by Hisense’s Hi-View Engine chipset, customers now have access to a range of updated AI features which will automatically improve the viewing experience on 2025 models. Features include AI upscaling and picture adjustment, area-scanning for sound output optimisation, and display adjustments for power optimisation.
Alongside visual improvements, Hisense is also developing the sound quality of its products. Some models will now feature low-power Bluetooth capabilities to improve audio quality by up to 30%.
The Hisense HT Saturn has been designed for big-screen displays, with four wireless satellite speakers and a standalone 6.5-inch subwoofer for maximum usage without cables. The 4.1.2, 13-speaker system uses Dolby Atmos and DTS:X technology for improved audio performance.
The AX5140Q offers 5.1.4 sound solutions, and along with the HT Saturn, implements the ‘Hi-Concerto’ feature to recognise and incorporate the TV’s sound solution into a synchronised soundstage, while ‘Room Calibration’ adjusts the audio experience to suit the room.
