Hisense is presenting its latest Laser Home Cinema innovation at CES 2025 with the unveiling of the L9Q Laser TV, alongside the C2 and C2 Ultra 4K TriChroma Laser Mini Projectors.
New to the line-up in 2025, the L9Q TriChroma Laser TV comes with an included 120-inch ambient light rejecting (ALR) calibrated screen with an adjustable display ranging from 80 inches to 150 inches.
Powered by Hisense’s proprietary LPU Digital Laser Engine and delivering 4,000 ANSI lumens, the L9Q is the brightest laser Hisense has made to date.
An industry-first in laser, the L9Q debuts a 0.18 ultra-short throw lens that reduces the projection distance by 44mm compared to conventional 0.2 throw ratio models. This enables the 120-inch L9Q to project with less wall clearance and space required.
As the first model to feature the advanced .47SST architecture chip, the 120-inch L9Q (below) delivers 1,000 nits of brightness directly in front of the screen. Its precision colour correction is further enhanced by Dolby Vision, as well as Harman Kardon front-firing speakers and ‘Designed for Xbox’ certification for gaming.
Powered by the LPU Digital Laser Engine, the C2 and C2 Ultra leverage AI and Hisense’s Auto Magic AI and DTS:X technologies, which intuitively detect and adapt to surroundings.
The C2 and C2 Ultra feature a gimbal design, offering 360-degree horizontal and 135-degree vertical rotation, making them suitable for any setting, whether projected onto a screen, wall, or the ceiling.
The C2 and C2 Ultra utilise Hisense’s TriChroma colour technology to produce IMAX Enhanced and Dolby Vision visuals from 65-inch to 300-inch projection with brightness up to 2,000 and 3,000 ANSI lumens respectively, which achieves 110% of BT.2020 of the colour gamut.
The C2 Ultra builds on the C2 with more features, including an integrated subwoofer, ‘Designed for Xbox’ plug-and-play optimisation, and enhanced versatility with optical zoom capability (0.9 ~ 1.5:1).
Hisense Australia and New Zealand vice president of sales and marketing, Chris Kotis said, “Hisense leads the laser technology category with over 2,500 applied patents that underpin our innovations in the field.
