Samsung Electronics revealed its ‘AI for All’ vision at CES 2025, with the aim of using intelligence technology to provide a personalised home experience.

Samsung Device eXperience Division vice chairman and CEO, Jong-Hee Han (pictured), outlined the company’s Home AI blueprint during the CES 2025 press conference, which included AI-powered control over mobile, home and visual appliances.

The new wave of Home AI will focus on creating a hyper-personalised smart experience for individual households. To protect user privacy, the Samsung Knox Matrix employs blockchain technology to shield the user’s home and data from digital threats. The Knox Matrix Dashboard is a simple security control centre which connects all home devices. As information syncs, the Knox Matrix’s Credential Sync centralises the ability to encrypt or decrypt data to the user’s device.

Samsung’s smart home platform, SmartThings, incorporates the latest AI technology to analyse human movement and ambient sounds, allowing the interface to adapt to daily routines. Bixby Voice, the AI voice assistant, is trained to recognise individual users and respond to commands.

SmartThings also rewards environmental consciousness by delivering Samsung Rewards Points to users who limit their use of the electricity grid and leverage SmartThings Energy.

Galaxy Ring and Watch users can receive AI-based health insights generated using intelligence technology and Samsung’s end-to-end program, Samsung Health.

Vision AI improves user’s screen experience with Generative Wallpaper, Live Translate and Click to Search functions. The Neo QLED 8K TV includes AI features such as 8K AI Upscaling Pro, Auto HDR Remastering Pro and Colour Booster Pro for enhanced picture quality.

As part of Samsung’s Screens Everywhere program, appliances now come with improved display options. Every refrigerator includes a 9-inch AI Home display, while other devices feature 7-inch screens. AI Vision Inside and direct access to online grocery shopping via Instacart come included with a broad range of products.

Users can automatically sync Samsung AI accessibility features across home appliances using a smartphone. From the first half of 2025, Bixby will control connected devices to display high-contrast text and provide voice guides for people with low vision. AI can also change audio subtitles by lowering the volume of foreign language audio and reading subtitles in the user’s chosen language.
