Electrolux Australia and New Zealand sales director, Chris Coen will depart the business, effective immediately, after 17 years with the organisation. Coen has accepted a role within the Harvey Norman Retail Group.

“Naturally, it’s hard to farewell such a highly valued leader from our business. However, I am excited about the opportunity this presents Chris to further his career within the industry by joining a business partner for whom we have the deepest regard,” Electrolux Australia and New Zealand managing director, Kurt Hegvold said.

“We hold Chris in the highest esteem and thank him for the 17 years of valued contribution to our company, our people and to the industry at large.”

Coen first joined the Electrolux business as an account manager in June 2006. He was appointed state sales manager – Victoria and Tasmania in July 2013 before being promoted to general manager – retail sales one year later. He then held the role of product line director – taste for two years.

In August 2020, Coen was appointed sales director, after serving in an interim capacity following the departure of Michael Doyle.

A new Electrolux sales director will be announced shortly.
