Brisbane-based Crest Electronics have created three new roles within their sales and category marketing teams to “tackle substantial growth opportunities.”
Bringing with him 20 years’ experience in the entertainment and consumer electronics industries in Australia, Michael Tomkins rejoins Crest as business development manager.
Taking up the position of category marketing manager in the newly expanded marketing team is Bill Ryan. Ryan has a broad background in FMCG, having worked for Simplot, Hans Smallgoods and most recently Nestlé.
Category development and sourcing expert Matthew Smith takes on the role of category marketing manager in new categories. Originally from the UK, Smith is a seasoned category marketing professional bringing extensive experience from the telecoms and FMCG industries in Australia.
Speaking about the new appointments, Crest managing director Ralph Olbertz said the new team members will “play a vital role in implementing the new strategic direction for the business.”
“These three individuals bring another level of skills to the wealth of talent that we have brought in to Crest in recent months,” Olbertz said.
Crest recently signed a distribution agreement with Imation to distribute its TDK Life on Record range of headphones.
