Whirlpool-branded appliances will be sold through a sales agent, Castel Electronics, from 8 July 2013, according to a company statement released today by Whirlpool Oceania managing director Sanjay Prasad.

This partnership with Castel will allow us to distribute Whirlpool branded products to the Australian retailers more efficiently and cost effectively resulting in a greater value for the customer.
Castel has a proven business model in this market to deliver high quality products on time, every time. Whirlpool Corporation remains committed to the Australian marketplace. This move will improve our overall satisfaction rates in product availability, quality, and services.
