Audiophiles and music lovers looking to drown out the noise of an aeroplane, coworker or reality TV show someone else is watching can now create their own ‘Zen space’ by snapping a pair Symphony 1 headphones over the ears.
Manufactured by Definitive Technology, a Maryland-based audio specialist founded in 1990, the Symphony 1 headphone use active noise cancellation to aurally separate the user from their environment and feature both corded and Bluetooth playback for added convenience.
“Crafted like a piece of art, the Definitive Technology Symphony 1 headphones are created with aluminium, leather and premium materials for exceptional comfort and style,” a spokesperson told me. “They also come with a premium, robust protective case with a silk liner and soft travel pouch included for added convenience when you are jetting off and travelling.”
The headphones have 50-millimetre drivers for full frequency sound range and up to 15 hours of quoted battery life.
Definitive Technology joins a growing list of company supplying highly specified headphones into the medium-to-premium market segment. Other brands competing in this space include Philips, Sennheiser, Plantronics, Beats and Bose, among many others.
The Symphony 1 headphones are RRP $699 and Definitive Technology is distributed locally by Advance Audio Australia.
