Electrolux invests in partnership as part of marketing campaign.
For the second year running, Electrolux is the principal partner of Taste of Sydney, held at Sydney’s Centennial Parklands. Over four days from 10 March to 13 March, more than a dozen of the city’s restaurants will showcase more than 50 dishes for attendees.
A range of Electrolux induction cooktops and steam ovens are on display and in use in two separate areas – the Electrolux Taste Theatre where top chefs will invite members of the public to be hands-on in cooking some dishes and then eating their efforts and sharing a glass of wine. The second venue is the Electrolux Chef Secrets tent where other top chefs, such as Peter Gilmour, share their secrets.
According to Electrolux Home Products national brand and trade marketing manager, Richelle Barker (pictured below), this is now part of an Electrolux global marketing program with the company being principal partners of Taste of London and Taste of Milan events.
“It is all about showing people how they too can emulate professional chefs using the various features of Electrolux products to present great tasting food,” Barker said.
In association with Taste of Sydney, Electrolux is conducting a national competition via its social media platform and developing content to be shared such as recipes and videos.
“Taste of Sydney also ties in well with our other major national cooking sponsorship – the annual Electrolux Appetite of Excellence Awards for which Electrolux has been a major sponsor or principal partner for the past nine years,” she added.
Retailers, including The Good Guys and Winnings Appliances, will be attending Taste of Sydney as Electrolux guests.
