Epson has released an ultra-short throw smart streaming laser projector to meet a broader range of viewing options, intended to redefine traditional gaming and movie watching.
According to Epson, the ultra-short-throw projector market has ramped up in recent years with simplified streaming compatibility and demand for bigger images.
The Epson EH-LS650 Smart Streaming Laser Projector, offers 4K PRO-UHD, 3-Chip 3LCD technology and 3,600 lumens of colour and white brightness even in well-lit rooms. The 120-inch screen can redirect up to 90% of ambient light to increase contrast and deliver a crisp picture.
The projector can be placed close to the wall for easy viewing in any sized room with a hassle-free set up from the Epson Setting Assistant app, available on both Android and iOS devices.
A built-in 2.1 virtual sound system designed for Epson by Yamaha, takes the listening experience up a notch, with a sleek new metal grille to cover the speakers with minimum distortion to sound quality. An eARC HDMI port has been added to make it easy to switch from the built-in speakers to other external AV receivers or soundbars, using the projector’s single remote controller.
The EH-LS650 is equipped with Smart TV capabilities for watching popular streaming channels and streaming live TV with built-in Google Assistant.
RRP is $3,999.
