E&S Trading (e&s) has been voted the ‘Best In-Store Shop for Appliances’ with Appliances Online named the ‘Best Online Shop for Appliances’ in a recent survey conducted by CHOICE.
More than 3,500 CHOICE supporters were asked about their experiences buying appliances in the past 12 months, and whether they were satisfied with the stores they visited, in person or online.
For physical stores, participants were asked to rate the range of products and brands, value for money, customer service, delivery, after-sales service, deals and discounts offered and also store appearance. For online stores, ease of using the website, payment options, the returns process and level of product details were added.
e&s took out the top spot for in-store shopping, despite only having a physical presence in Victoria and the ACT. e&s was praised for its after-sales service, range of products and brands available, and delivery service,
e&s managing director, Rob Sinclair said, “The fact that e&s rated as either equal or outright leader in each and every field reflects the phenomenal job than every single person in the organisation does and the unwavering commitment to the customer that defines e&s. Retravision, Winnings, Betta Electrical and Bing Lee rounded out the top five, edging above The Good Guys, JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman.
For the third consecutive survey by CHOICE, Appliances Online received the highest overall satisfaction score of 86, topping every category in the survey including range of products and brands available, value for money, ease of use of website, payment options, delivery, returns process and after-sales service.
Amazon Australia, Bing Lee, JB Hi-Fi and Myer rounded out the top five online stores.
