Fisher & Paykel has completed the acquisition of its distributor lines for Fisher & Paykel and DCS appliances in Quebec, Canada from long-time partner, A.G. International (AGI), effective 6 September 2022.
“For the past 25 years, AGI has held the exclusive distribution rights for Fisher & Paykel and DCS in Quebec, helping to grow our brand and drive our transition towards luxury premium within the region,” Fisher & Paykel chief operating officer, Crt Prasnikar said in a statement supplied to Appliance Retailer.
“The agreement will see six AGI sales and customer experience employees join our business to create a dedicated Quebec team, deeply integrated within Fisher & Paykel Canada. Over the coming months, we will be investing in more resources and staff to strengthen our team and ensure we build on the excellent service levels that customers have experienced working with AGI.
“We are extremely proud of the strong relationship we have developed with AGI over the past 25 years and will continue to work with them throughout the transition as we bring our new Quebec team together,” he added.
