FUJIFILM Australia has unveiled the headlining acts for its first ‘Creator Summit: Powered by Fujifilm’. The two-day festival, scheduled for Sydney’s Luna Park between 22 and 23 February, is a celebration of the steadily-growing content creation industry.
The two keynote sessions will be run by former children’s entertainer and comedian, Jimmy Rees OAM, and influencer-turned-entrepreneur, Brittney Saunders. Each will reveal the powers of content creation in shaping their careers. While Rees focuses on incorporating humour into media, Saunders will share the link between content and e-commerce and how she turned her fashion label from a garage-based project into an empire.
Other scheduled talent includes Tom Sharpe, Australia’s first street-style content creator, and Taylor Reilly, founder of one of the country’s biggest TikTok influencer management agencies, Reilly Talent.
FUJIFILM Australia general manager of the electronic imaging & optical devices division, Shaun Mah said, “From unique humour and authenticity, to exploring the world through a camera lens, or tapping into cultural trends to create reel-ready content – content creation undoubtedly holds unlimited possibilities.
“We know Australia has a creative and flourishing content creator community, it’s evident in the vast array of creators we have attending our inaugural Creator Summit.”
Tickets for the summit give attendees access to FUJIFILM keynotes, workshops and partner hubs. It also includes a single-ride pass to the iconic Ferris wheel and a FUJIFILM goodie bag valued at over $270.
There are 30 sessions spanning a wide range of topics including content entrepreneurship, creating travel content, the power of social media and more. Creators are invited to network with like-minded individuals, or chat with partners such as ALPAKA, Capture One, Atmos, RØDE and SmallRig for advice on how to enhance your craft.
“I am thrilled I now get to share my knowledge and what I’ve learned over the years with an equally passionate community of creators at the Creator Summit: Powered by Fujifilm,” Brittney Saunders said.
