Glem Gas has launched two new off board rangehoods with Shadow Proof lighting, following the successful launch of the Shadow Proof rangehood CK90TBLED (pictured).
Complementing its freestanding cooker and cooktop range, Glem Gas introduced the concept of no shadows over the cooking surface by taking learnings from task lighting design in office environments. With integrated LED panels, the rangehoods provide a bright and evenly lit workspace using very low electricity consumption.
Glem Gas Australasia managing director, David Gilmore said, “Shadow Proof rangehoods use a full LED panel with perimeter air extraction, bringing the same lighting levels into cooking that are becoming commonplace in professional interior design schemes. We’re helping to create a safer cooking zone and reduce reliance on other kitchen lighting.”
While the CK90TBLED rangehood, RRP $1,599, has a conventional onboard fan motor, the two new models are additions to the Quiet Air off board motor range, where the fan motor is installed in the ceiling cavity to reduce kitchen noise.
The GQA90TBLED and GQA120TBLED models, RRP $2,899 and $3,199 respectively, provide a 90cm and 120cm square line canopy design option, each achieving the maximum 1,200m3 per hour extraction to minimise cooking odours.
Featuring a perimeter filtration system, three speed fan and seven-year motor warranty, the new Glem Gas Shadow Proof rangehoods also come with a full installation kit for integration into new and existing kitchens.
