The Good Guys has been awarded the title of Best International Customer Service Professionals (ICSP) for the Electrical Appliance category at the ICSP Awards ceremony in Melbourne this week.
The ICSP Awards are the premier awards for the customer service industry in Australia and New Zealand and recognise the best practices of some of Australia and New Zealand’s most innovative customer service businesses.
The ICSP is the third award The Good Guys has won for customer service this year. In February the retailer won the 2013 Roy Morgan Customer Satisfaction Award for the third year in a row and last month it was recognised by the Canstar Blue for having the Most Satisfied Customers in the Electronic Retailers category, for the fourth year running.
“This award is a testament to the hard work and dedication that our team members have put in over the past 12 months to make The Good Guys best in breed, not only in Australia but internationally,” said The Good Guys CEO Michael Ford.
“Anticipating customer needs and delighting them both in-store and online has to be at the centre of everything that we do.”
The Good Guys Bussleton store employee Andrew Crosbie was named as overall individual Customer Service Champion on the night.
“To have Andrew win the overall individual Customer Service Champion award makes us very proud and reaffirms our mission to deliver an outstanding retail experience to all our customers.
“We have invested a lot of time into key resources and initiatives to drive the business and tonight is just one example of the positive results we are reaping,” Ford said.
Winners of the ICSP awards were benchmarked against strict criteria to identify customer service best practice based on a survey was conducted to identify what customers see as exceptional customer service.
