Grundig LED LCD television recalled over acidic liquid leak risk

Bush Australia has recalled the Grundig brand 23.6-inch LED LCD television with Integrated DVD Player and USB Record (G2412FLEDV).

According to the recall notice, over time a strongly acidic liquid may seep out of the black plastic cover. The liquid, which looks like small rain droplets, may cause burns to skin, respiratory issues or eye damage and should not to touched.

The product was sold nationally through Harvey Norman stores and the serial number range is between U0007780001 and U0007780800.

Consumers are advised to contact Bush Australia (02) 9714 3434 and select option 1, for instructions on how to return the TV for a replacement product.
