Hisense Australia has debuted its 2023 range of TVs and home appliances at the ‘Hisense Home’ in Malabar in Sydney’s eastern suburbs, showcasing its product offering in one destination for the first time locally.

“The debut of our 2023 range is a pivotal moment for Hisense in Australia as we deliver on our ambition to provide our customers with a range that offers value without compromise when it comes to industry-leading innovation and features, sustainability and convenience,” Hisense Australia and New Zealand head of marketing, Gideon Lui said.

“At the ‘Hisense Home’, we showcased that Hisense Australia now has a premium product for every corner of the home. Together with the first Australian demonstration of key features within our ConnectLife smart home app, we presented the Hisense Home of today and a glimpse into the Hisense Home of the future.”

Sustainability is an important theme for home designer, renovation expert, brand ambassador and host of the Hisense Home, Barry Du Bois, who believes Hisense’s 2023 range has impressive credentials in this area.

“Hisense delivers outstanding efficiency in the appliances that are usually the most energy-hungry in the home – refrigeration, laundry and air conditioning. At a time when Australians are looking to save money on their energy bills and better contribute to the environment through energy saving, Hisense’s innovative and sustainable range should be on the shortlist,” he said.

Mini LED and Laser TV

Hisense debuted several new innovations in the ‘Hisense Home’ including its Mini LED, Mini LED Pro and Mini LED X TVs, as well as its expanded TriChroma Laser range.

Hisense’s Mini LED X is a challenger technology to OLED for picture quality, viewing experience and premium value, while Hisense’s TriChroma Laser TV Series L9H features advanced Laser technology and is equipped with Dolby Atmos, Dolby Vision HDR, and an included ALR (ambient light rejection) screen.

Laundry appliances

In the laundry, Hisense demonstrated its nine-star energy rated heat pump dryer and Series 7 front load washing machine designed to save on energy and reduce time spent in the laundry.

In addition to being energy efficient, the 9kg heat pump dryer incorporates a Quick Dry 30-minute cycle to quickly dry a small amount of items (up to 0.5kg), while Ion Refresh technology uses negatively charged ions to remove odours for a quick refresh before wearing. With built-in sensors that continuously monitor residual moisture and temperature, Auto Dry automatically adjusts drying times to save time and energy while avoiding damage to clothing.

The Series 7 10kg washer incorporates auto-dosing functionality that automatically chooses the precise detergent or softener dosage according to the load (for up to one month’s worth of washing at a time). The washer also eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria thanks to a UV filter. The Auto Wash function automatically senses the weight of the load and adds the optimum amount of water and detergent, while the Steam function helps eliminate 99.9% of allergens to clean clothes and protect skin.

By choosing the fabric type, colour, and dirt level of the laundry, the washing machine will select the ideal combination of temperature, time, and water thanks to Smart Wizard.

With Smart Link, the washing machine sends the washing program to the Hisense dryer to intelligently choose the correct drying program to match, saving time and removing the need for manual programming.

Kitchen appliances

In the kitchen, Hisense showcased its UV Hygiene Guard black steel dishwasher offering a 15-place setting, collapsible cutlery tray, flexible bottom basket and easy lift middle basket. Each of the three racks has its own dedicated spray arm for thorough cleaning.

Built-in UV Hygiene Guard technology removes up to 99.9% of bacteria, ensuring consistently clean dishes, glassware and cutlery. When finished, the dishwasher door opens automatically to allow steam and moisture to escape to ensure dishes are perfectly dry when unloading.

Designed with the entertainer in mind, the PureFlat Infinite side-by-side fridge has a PureFlat design, large 632L capacity and in-built water and ice dispenser which doesn’t require plumbing. Metal Tech Cooling helps the fridge retain its cool temperature after the fridge door has been opening.

With the new super-freeze mode, the temperature immediately decreases to -24℃ at the touch of a button, to lock in food nourishment without destroying its cell structure, or to quickly chill drinks before guests arrive. Hisense’s inverter technology maintains ideal temperatures with superior energy efficiency, meaning a quieter fridge with better cooling.

The Hisense 46 bottle dual zone wine cellar features dual temperature control and anti-UV glass to ensure sparkling, white and red wines are stored at the correct temperature in all weather and lighting conditions. Soft-close shelves allow for quiet and smooth handling, keeping vibrations to a minimum, while digital touch control makes operation simple and convenient.

James Robson from Ross Hill Wines, Australia’s first carbon neutral winery, who partnered with Hisense for this launch commented, “We’re both pioneering and prioritising sustainability in our respective fields. For us, achieving carbon neutral status was a key achievement which recognised our continued commitment to bettering the environment, particularly that which we’re fortunate to call home, in Orange, NSW.”

Air-conditioning

Thanks to Hi-Nano Air Filtering technology, the Hisense V Series split system reverse cycle air conditioning keeps air fresh, eliminating airborne bacteria and limiting the spread of pollutants, such as allergens, moulds, pollens, odours and more.

A 360-degree full DC inverter technology achieves faster cooling and heating times, while saving on energy. Eco Mode minimises power consumption, saving up to 30% more energy than previous Hisense inverter technology. Voice control and Google Home connectivity allows verbal commands to set modes, adjust temperatures and more.

Hisense patented self-clean technology reduces the need for cleaning and maintenance and extends the life of the unit. Simply select the self-cleaning function from the remote control.

In an Australian first, Hisense demonstrated its ConnectLife app at ‘Hisense Home’. Available on Apple iOS and Android, the app makes it easier to manage Hisense smart appliances and monitor their energy and water usage across air conditioning, dishwasher, refrigeration and laundry.
