HMD Global has introduced the Nokia XR21 smartphone, promising tough durability and two-day battery life.
The Nokia XR21 has been certified for MIL-STD-810H durability, making it drop-proof, dust-proof and waterproof. In addition, during internal testing, the smartphone survived being dropped from 1.8 metres, as well as being submerged in 1.5 metres of water for up to an hour, and hit with the same pressure as a 1450 PSI jet of water with a water temperature of 80°C.
Crafted around a diecast 100% recycled aluminum chassis, the Nokia XR21 is protected by a body made of durable materials and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus display. Its durability extends to its battery life, with the smartphone able to last two days between charges. Plus, when you’re caught in unpleasant or extreme weather, the Nokia XR21 is up to the task.
“We know Australians love their smartphones and that they go through a lot of wear and tear in their lifetime. From parents of toddlers, to tradies and outdoor adventure-lovers, the Nokia XR21 has been built for every day and for everyone,” HMD Global country manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands, Brenden Folitarik said.
“We’re so confident you can take the Nokia XR21 anywhere in Australia where you can capture those special moments, and should the worst happen, we offer a one-year screen replacement guarantee.”
The best AI-powered imaging algorithms found on Nokia devices like AI Portrait, Night Mode 2.0, and Flash Shot, are complemented by 96dB stereo speakers with audio boost mode. Two Quick Access buttons provide favourite apps and features even faster.
The Nokia XR21 guarantees four years of monthly security updates, three years of OS upgrades, three years of warranty and a one-year screen replacement guarantee. It will be available in Midnight Black and Pine Green from JB Hi-Fi from $799.
