At IFA in Berlin, Belkin launched new products across its SoundForm audio category and 11 new travel-ready products in mobile charging, as well as solutions to enable more flexible options to work while on the go.
Designed in California at its in-house labs, the new products are made with post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics in line with the company’s commitment to find more responsible ways to build products.
SoundForm audio
Developed by Belkin, Signature Sound is integrated throughout the SoundForm range, producing deep and balanced bass, crisp treble and clear vocals. All new SoundForm products feature Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) for voice isolating clear call quality as standard.
The SoundForm ClearFit is designed for use during sports, outdoor activities and workouts with an IPX5 sweat resistance rating. The earbuds stay comfortable and secure around the outer ear, while allowing the user to stay aware of their surroundings. They offer an eight-hour battery life with an additional 18 hours in the charging case. The SoundForm ClearFit will be available in ANZ later this month for RRP $89.95.
The SoundForm Isolate is the first over-ear headphone with ANC by Belkin. In addition to ANC, Isolate has a built-in relaxation track that plays on a loop. They come with a long battery life of 60 hours, three settings including ANC, standard listening, and hear thru mode, as well as Bluetooth Multipoint. The SoundForm Isolate will be available in early 2025 for RRP $89.95.
The SoundForm Surround over-ear headphones are designed for on the go use. ENC ensures clear calls with minimal background noise. Its foldable, extendable, and comfortable design and intuitive touch controls make these headphones an everyday accessory, boasting a battery life of 60 hours. The SoundForm Surround will be available in early 2025 for RRP $69.95.
Mobile charging and connectivity
In mobile charging, Belkin unveiled foldable wireless chargers with Qi2 including the BoostCharge Magnetic Foldable Charger that’s compact and travel ready. Delivering 15W of fast wireless charging to iPhone and other Qi2 enabled devices, its magnetic connection secures the device to charging stand and holds it vertically or horizontally for hands-free use.
The BoostCharge Magnetic Foldable Charger is available in a standalone version with 20W power for charging a phone only and 2-in-1 version with 30W power to charge a phone and earbuds. The standalone version will be available in September 2024 for RRP $99.95 and the 2-in-1 version will be available in November 2024 for RRP $149.95.
The BoostCharge 3-in-1 Magnetic Foldable Charger offers both portable and customisable charging angles. It delivers 15W of fast wireless charging to iPhone or Qi2 enabled device, 5W to Apple Watch and 5W for earbuds. 36W power supply and USB-C cable are included. The BoostCharge 3-in-1 Magnetic Foldable Charger will be available in November 2024 for RRP $199.95.
The BoostCharge Pro Magnetic Wireless Travel Pad is available in 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 versions and can be used as a pad or fold up into a stand. It delivers 15W of fast wireless charging to iPhone or Qi2 enabled device, 5W to Apple Watch and 5W for earbuds.
The 2-in-1 version comes with 30W power supply and 3-in-1 version comes with 36W power supply. Both versions include USB-C. The 2-in-1 version will be available in September 2024 for RRP $199.95 and the 3-in-1 version will be available in October 2024 for RRP $239.95.
Power banks
Belkin also unveiled two new high-capacity power banks – the BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Integrated Cable to charge USB-C smartphone, earbuds or tablet with the option to split power and charge multiple devices and the BoostCharge Pro 3-Port Laptop Power Bank 20K to charge a laptop, MacBook or smartphone quickly and safely with a full colour digital display that shows battery status.
Pricing and availability for the BoostCharge Power Bank 10K with Integrated Cable is yet to be confirmed. The BoostCharge Pro 3-Port Laptop Power Bank 20K will be available in October 2024 for RRP $159.95.
Cables made more responsibly
The new Belkin BoostCharge 2-in-1 USB-C and Lightning Cable delivers up to 60W of power to any USB-C or Lightning device, MFi and USB-IF certified and tested to over 30,000 bends and over 10,000 plug-ins. It features a built-in interchangeable Lightning connector and handy cable strap to keep things tidy and protect from tangles.
Exterior braiding is made of 100% post-consumer recycled polyester, certified by the Global Recycled Standard (GRS), cable head and internal jacket are made of 50% GRS-certified post-consumer recycled thermoplastic. The BoostCharge 2-in-1 USB-C and Lightning Cable will be available in December 2024 for RRP $39.95.
Portable keyboards
The new Belkin Pro Keyboard Case collection makes working from anywhere, easy. The backlit Bluetooth keyboard pairs to iPad to offer the ease of use of an external keyboard with the added defence of a protective cover.
The premium faux leather exterior protects the device, while a soft, anti-slip interior protects the screen from scratches. It auto wakes/sleeps when opening/closing, and features a large, click-anywhere trackpad. Pricing and availability is yet to be confirmed.
