Former Harvey Norman and Retravision proprietor Adrian Conti will celebrate his 40th year as an electrical retailer this year after returning to Winning Appliances.
Conti began working for Valtel in 1982 – a retail group that was responsible for opening the first Bose store in Australia as well as operating Sony Style stores. Conti rose to become CEO of Valtel that was also well known for operating Retravision stores in Chatswood, North Rocks and Hornsby in the northern suburbs of Sydney.
After leaving Valtel in 2006, Conti then joined Harvey Norman for six years as franchisee at Alexandria, Balgowlah and Blacktown.
After a one-year stint at Seconds World in 2013 he joined Winning Appliances for almost nine years in 2014.
Since leaving Winning Appliances in 2022, he joined COPE Sensitive Freight. Conti has now returned to Winnings Appliances for his 40th year as an appliance retailer.
“I am excited to be back with Winnings – a family business and a specialist in luxury goods retailing. It is right up my alley as an appliance retailing professional.
“I have grown up with electronics and technology, and while I have had proprietorships with Harvey Norman and Retravision groups, my passion is definitely appliance retailing and I am perfectly placed to provide exceptional service at Winnings.
“I worked at Winning Appliances for 10 years prior a short stint in the logistics and sensitive freight category. I have been proudly placed at the flagship store at Redfern and I am very happy to be back for my 40th year as a retailer and presenting with customers with solutions at the top end of the appliance category.”
