Teams up with Sydney’s Carriageworks.
Carriageworks and Intel have collaborated for Vivid Sydney for the world premiere of the Björk Digital exhibition incorporating virtual reality technology and digital experiences.
As part of the partnership, there will be a new virtual reality project from the celebrated musician, artist and performer.
Bjork Digital will feature virtual reality work created on Intel technology and will feature work from her first VR album, Vulnicura. One of the pieces, Not Get, will be running on Intel Core i7 based systems to deliver immersive and responsive experiences for up to, an unprecedented, 25 users at a time.
Carriageworks director, Lisa Havilah said, “Our collaboration with Intel will enable exciting new contemporary digital projects in the Carriageworks program to come to life. As part of Vivid Sydney’s Music program at Carriageworks, we are thrilled to present Björk, one of the most important artists of her generation who has successfully integrated art and popular music, often exploring the relationship between nature and technology.”
