SYDNEY, NSW: ViewSonic and IceTV have teamed up to offer a bundle package on two of ViewSonic’s PC minis. Under the promotion, consumers who purchase one of these computers will receive a dual HD TV tuner, HDMI cable and a year’s membership to IceTV.
The two ViewSonic PCs in this promotion are the VOT132 (RRP $899) and the VOT550 (RRP $1,499). The IceTV subscription is RRP $99.
Talking about this bundled promotion is IceTV general manager Matt Kossatz.
“IceTV is extremely excited by the new range of mini PCs from ViewSonic and is delighted to be working closely with the company to help promote these products as the ideal media centre solution for the home,” Kossatz said.
“This is the first time we have seen a device so small yet so powerful, and we have seen many AV-style form factor PCs come and go.
“To think you can get a full blown Windows 7 media centre PC with a dual HD TV tuner for under a thousand dollars, or one the size of a lunchbox with Blu-ray built-in is fantastic!”
ViewSonic country manager William Tse was also happy to announce this partnership.
““ViewSonic recognises the added value IceTV extends the consumer for their home entertainment and media centre enjoyment. We are pleased and excited: the partnership of supplying the IceTV EPG and ViewSonic mini PC offers consumers a true media centre experience.”
In other IceTV news today, Kossatz said the EPG company had today released its interactive software for Windows 7.
