Mitsubishi Electric Australia has announced the appointment of John Grundy as its new Queensland retail manager in the company’s Living Environment Group.
“Grundy brings a great deal of experience to the role, having worked in the electrical retail industry for 30 years in various sales and management roles at Chandlers, The Vox Retail Group and Betta Electrical,” said a Mitsubishi Electric Australia spokesperson.
“Most recently, Grundy has spent the past five years working across both the Retail and HVAC/Commercial divisions within Mitsubishi Electric Australia, ensuring a strong presence for their products in the current competitive climate.”

In his new role, Grundy will report to national retail manager Peter Taylor. Upon accepting the position, Grundy said his focus was on promoting the features and benefits of Mitsubishi Electric Australia’s products.
“My focus will be maintaining and promoting the Mitsubishi Electric brand as a premium product that will deliver both peace of mind to consumers and a good return for our retail partners both financially and the delivery of recurring floor traffic with customers poised to purchase more reliable products.”
