After pointing out to Rdio that JB NOW also has integrated social media elements, Rdio provided the following statement:

“We built Rdio with social music discovery in mind. It is fully integrated with users' social networks including Facebook and Twitter and accessible via every major platform, whether online or offline.

“This is what makes it Australia's first truly social music streaming service. Rdio subscribers build and share their online music collections from a catalogue of more than 12 million songs, and can see the listening activity, collections and playlists of other Rdio users including friends and influencers.”
