Positions to be filled around the country have not been taken down from recruitment site.
Two days after Woolworths announced the decision to axe Masters, recruitment website Seek is advertising 17 roles including sales managers, store managers, bathroom specialist and kitchen sales consultant.
The various roles are advertised for stores around the country including “new stores” Parafield, South Australia, a non-residential suburb north of Adelaide, and South Nowra in New South Wales.
The jobs were advertised between January 11 and January 15, 2016.
The advertisements read, “This is an exciting time at Masters as we prepare to open more new stores. As we continue to grow rapidly we are looking to attract highly talented individuals to join our operations team in various newly created roles. More than just a home improvement, hardware and DIY destination – we offer products, value and service that really excite our customers.”
