Global audio leader, Klipsch Group will establish a local subsidiary in Sydney to distribute its products directly in Australia, effective March 2021.
The Klipsch Group portfolio includes the Klipsch, Jamo, Energy and ProMedia brands. QualiFi has been the long-time distributor of Jamo and the distributor of Klipsch for the last four years.
The audio products will continue to be sold through current partners: Harvey Norman, regional audio specialists and custom integrators, with plans to grow brand awareness and product assortment, according to Klipsch Group vice president and general manager of sales and marketing for Asia Pacific, Vince Bonacorsi (pictured below).
“Enhancing our premium audio brand presence and increasing our market share in Australia are significant strategic initiatives for us. We will continue to invest in this channel and create new opportunities with the exciting and vast portfolio of products and partnerships that we are bringing to market,” he told Appliance Retailer.
The move coincides with the launch of several new products in early 2021 including the Klipsch T5 II ANC True Wireless earphones powered by artificial intelligence and head gestures, Klipsch HP-1 ANC Over Ear headphones, and Klipsch Cinema 1200 and 800 sound bars with Dolby Atmos surround sound.
