Kogan has recalled Christmas lights it sold online because they do not comply with Australian standards and do not have an outdoor insulation protection rating.
According to the ACCC recall notice the lights pose a risk of electrical shock when being used outdoors.
The lights were sold nationally between October 2012 and December 2014 in 20 metres lengths of blue, gold, white and red.
The affected products can be identified by the following batch numbers on the packaging:
– KAXLT20BLUA
– KAXLT20REDA
– KAXLT20WHTA
– KAXLT20GLDA
