A new large format cutting machine for those looking to expand their businesses is now available from Harvey Norman.

Cricut Venture is the latest and fastest version to the Cricut platform designed for people wanting to create large-scale designs and quantities. It cuts a wide variety of materials with precision at commercial speeds, in addition to drawing, scoring and foiling.

“We created Cricut Venture for enthusiastic makers and those who sell what they make, or want to have creative control over their merchandise, without size limitations,” Cricut ANZ region director, Nicola Dow-Smith said.

Cricut Venture can produce larger scale and sizes, from big custom wall decals to bulk quantities of custom t-shirts or tote bags, and able to cut up to 22.8-metres of repeated images, with a cutting speed of up to 63.5 centimetres per second.

According to the company, the unique 45-degree angle on the machine allows it to keep a small footprint with large impact. It’s designed to sit at the edge of a table so when cutting on a mat, it is not necessary to have 91 cm behind and 91 cm in front of the machine to operate.

It supports Print then Cut capability up 61cm x 71 cm. With a force of up to 400 gf, it allows for cutting and making projects with more than 100 different types of materials to make items such as large 3D paper projects, extra-large vinyl wall decals, huge paper flowers, and bulk quantities of sweatshirts or other clothing items.

It has an assortment of materials and accessories to help make big and in bulk and works with a variety of smart materials that are loaded directly into the machine without mats to start cutting faster. Using smart materials, it can cut longer, larger designs without having to piecemeal parts together.

The machine is available for $1,499 exclusively at Harvey Norman via a pre-order online link. A full range of materials and accessories will be available online from August 30. There is also a pre-order special offer bundle that includes Cricut Circuit + Cricut Docking Stand with free delivery for $1,999.
