Lavazza has launched new A Modo Mio capsule coffee machines in collaboration with Smeg.
Compatible with the A Modo Mio capsule range with a full 7.5 grams of pre-tamped coffee to maximise texture and flavour, and slower extraction time for a rich espresso, the A Modo Mio capsule coffee machine can also be paired with Smeg’s milk frother.
With signature curves and patented technology, the machine offers an intuitive and user-friendly interface, less than 30 seconds heat up time and only 44db sound during operation.
Lavazza marketing director for Asia Pacific, Mimmo Orlando said the company is proud to be collaborating with another iconic premium Italian brand, Smeg.
“Lavazza and Smeg are two historic, Italian family companies that have embarked on a common path to bring premium Italian products to the world. The new Lavazza A Modo Mio Smeg capsule machine represents a combination of award-winning design, advanced technologies and excellence in coffee. A beautiful espresso, dedicated to lovers of Italian style.”
Smeg Australia managing director, Jim Kalotheos added: “We are both family businesses who share a passion for innovation and a love of design, as evidenced by this product. The coffee capsule machine, to be distributed nationally by Lavazza, offers consumers convenience and barista-quality espresso at home at the touch of a button. To complete the at-home experience, Smeg’s milk frother is also available in matching colours.”
Available at The Good Guys, Harvey Norman and the Lavazza Australia website for RRP $349, the machine comes in red, black and cream.
