With TrueSteam technology.
LG has added three models to its current QuadWash dishwasher line-up, with three finishes for the style conscious, matte black, black stainless and platinum steel.
Each carry an array of existing cleaning features and add ‘steam’ to the offering. LG TrueSteam technology harnesses steam to help breakdown stubborn stuck-on food scraps while improving drying to deliver clean dishes with fewer water spots.
The dishwasher category continues to deliver strong growth for LG, LG senior marketing manager for home appliances, Brad Reed said. “This expansion comes at a great time as many Australian consumers look at options to not only update, but to also colour co-ordinate, their kitchen appliances with functional and innovative technology.”
According to LG, since the launch of the initial LG QuadWash dishwasher range in 2018, independent consumer review company Choice, has recognised models within the existing QuadWash range with a ‘recommended’ rating..
QuadWash technology delivers a thorough clean by spraying water onto dishes from multiple angles. The bottom spray arm mechanism features four blades that rotate both clockwise and anti-clockwise, while two blades incorporate an oscillating nozzle that delivers jets of water into almost every nook and cranny. LG has also developed a 38-minute ‘express’ and 59-minute ‘turbo’ cycle to assist with saving time for loads with lightly soiled dishes.
Developed with SmartThinQ technology, users can download new wash cycles, diagnose problems and receive notifications via the LG SmartThinQ app on compatible smart devices.
The inverter Direct Drive motor has been developed with less moving parts to deliver reliable and quiet performance, and comes with a 10-year parts warranty. A dual zone wash feature cleans delicate dishes while power-washing pots and pans. Water spray intensity delivered to the upper and lower racks is varied to suit the type of dish being washed in each section of the washer.
The matte black model retails for $1,799 and the black stainless is $1,749, both accommodate 15-place settings and carry a 5.5 star water rating. The entry level platinum silver retails for $1,099 with 14 place settings and a 5-star water rating.
