Following the departure of Chris Horne in October, LG Electronics Australia has filled the role of general manager for home entertainment sales. The company has appointed former key account manager, Dean Carroll. He will take on this new role effective immediately and join the Sydney office three days a week.
LG Australia general manager of marketing, Angus Jones said, “Dean has already played an integral role on the home entertainment category and we are thrilled to see him take on this new leadership position.
“This appointment is part of an ongoing effort to bring internal talent forward for key positions within the business which makes it an exciting time for LG Australia and the home entertainment category. We are looking forward to working with Dean further and building on our successes next year and into the future.”
Commenting on his appointment, Carroll said, “I am excited to take on this new role and to continue being part of the LG home entertainment team as I will have the opportunity to bring our innovative product range for 2017 to Australian customers.”
Stepping up into the role of key account manager for home entertainment to replace Dean is Cory Foster and his appointment will be based in Victoria. He was previously account executive for home entertainment.
