LG Electronics Australia is launching the LG Signature Wine Cellar, now available across select Harvey Norman and The Good Guys stores with a price tag of $8,999. It joins the LG Signature TwinWash washing machine, 700L French Door refrigerator and ZX 8K OLED TV.
The new Wine Cellar can store up to 65 bottles of any variety or vintage and includes customisable options to cater to specific needs. The unit features a scratch resistant metal frame structure and includes an Auto Lift Drawer which automatically lifts with the push of a button. The drawer can be used to store cheese and cold cuts in fridge mode or to store meats using the freezer function.
In addition to precise temperature control and humidity control, the triple-pane black mirror-coated glass door protects bottles against heat and UV light to preserve distinctive flavour profiles.
For red wine, the top shelf can be set between 11 degrees and 18 degrees Celsius, while the middle shelf for white wine can be set between 5 degrees and 11 degrees Celsius, and the bottom shelf for storing champagne is pre-set and 5 degrees to 8 degrees Celsius.
The Auto Open Door feature allows users to open the door hands-free by stepping on the holographic light, ‘Door Open’ on the base of the unit. With two knocks, the InstaView panel glass door turns transparent to reveal the wines without opening the door to reduce cold air loss.
