Mitsubishi Electric has expanded its Mr Slim air-conditioning lineup with the addition of the PUZ-M Inverter M Series. Mr Slim derived its name from the outdoor units that were the first to offer wall mounting as an alternative to roof mounting.

In comparison to the current twin fan model, the PUZ-M100/125 single fan models are now smaller in size with no comprise on capacity. The units are 26% shorter in height and 35% lighter in weight compared to current models. The reduced height is designed to take up less space on balconies and outdoor areas and the reduced weight means it is easier to handle at installation.

The units offer full inverter control including finer control of operation frequency. This results in improved power management and maximum comfort with less energy consumption.

Mr Slim units also feature optional Wi-Fi for full control and monitoring via the Mitsubishi Electric app as well as smart capabilities via Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant devices. The PUZ-M Series is connectable to the PEA-M100/125/140GAA and PEAD/M-100/125/140JAAD ducted indoor units.

Mitsubishi Electric Australia national product manager, Atesh Mani said, “We continue to improve air conditioning systems and offer customers next-generation solutions through new products. The balance between compact design and improved performance are highlights for this year.

“This is likely to be popular for new build homes with a clean design. It is also perfect for apartments and smaller houses that only have a small hidden space for installation but want to maintain the best features and still enjoy the full ducted experience.”
