SYDNEY: Fujitsu General thrilled some of its key retailer partners with their very own ‘Hot Lap’ in a supercar at Sydney’s Eastern Creek Raceway yesterday in the lead up to the Championship and Fujitsu V8 Supercar Series joint round at Oran Park, NSW, this weekend.
A number of specialist air conditioning and Plasmavision dealers and retailers attended the event including representatives from The Good Guys, Retravision, Bing Lee and Clive Peeters. Retailers were driven around the Eastern Creek track by Fujitsu Racing’s V8 Supercar drivers Jason Bright, Warren Luff, Adam Macrow and Jose Fernandez.
Fujitsu General recently extended its partnership with Britek Motorsport through to the end of the 2009 V8 Supercar Championship Series season. Bright is the company’s Managing Director and remains the lead driver for the team.
“We were delighted to offer a number of our retailers this unique experience as a thank you for their ongoing support and commitment to our brand,” commented Milton Kaloudis, Fujitsu general marketing manager.
“The day was a great success and the bout of rain only added to the excitement on the track,” explained Kaloudis. “We look forward to extending the offer to more retailers next year."
