New productivity tools have been added to the ThinkPhone by Motorola, a smartphone designed for seamless PC-to-smartphone connectivity.

Together, Motorola and Microsoft are introducing two new features for ThinkPhone users: fully integrated support for Windows 365 cloud capabilities and Push To Talk integration with the Walkie Talkie feature on Microsoft Teams.

Motorola head of greater Asia Pacific, Kurt Bonnici said, “Motorola’s collaboration with Microsoft enables us to expand what’s possible with the ThinkPhone. Enhanced capabilities will allow ThinkPhone users to bring the experience of Windows 365 to their workstations via their mobile device.

“By connecting to a larger display and pairing a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, users will now be able to access their Windows 365 cloud PC and applications from anywhere with a full PC like experience. This is a real game changer when it comes to mobile productivity.”

Windows 365 combines the power and security of Microsoft Cloud with the versatility and simplicity of the PC. By integrating this capability with the ThinkPhone, Motorola is bringing a full-fledged cloud PC to user’s pockets, so they can work from anywhere.

ThinkPhone users can take advantage of the Windows 365 integration and stream the Windows experience directly from their ThinkPhone to a larger display by simply connecting it with a USB-C cable,, and a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse.

Customers can access the power of ThinkPhone by combining it with any Lenovo monitor and Bluetooth accessories such as the Lenovo Professional Wireless Rechargeable Combo Keyboard and Mouse, and Lenovo Go Wireless ANC Headset, for a complete Windows PC experience.

The convenience of ThinkPhone’s Red Key button is being expanded with the integration of the Walkie Talkie app in Teams. By quickly programming the Red Key to invoke Walkie Talkie mode, users have instant push-to-talk (PTT) communication capabilities. Working out of the box, this feature integrates the Red Key with the Walkie Talkie app in Microsoft Teams, making it easy to instantly communicate with specific teams or departments at once using Teams Channels.

The Windows 365 support via Moto Connect and the Walkie Talkie feature in Microsoft Teams will be available for the ThinkPhone by Motorola in the coming weeks. The ThinkPhone by Motorola is available through JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks online, the Lenovo Australia website and coming soon to Telstra Enterprise.
