Following on from successful alliances with the Sydney Seafood School and the Bottego Rotolo cooking schools in Tasmania and South Australia, Fisher & Paykel has announced a new partnership to bring appliances to the Sauce Cooking School in Toowoomba.
Speaking about the new school, which is the 10th in Australia to be affiliated with the New Zealand appliance brand, Fisher & Paykel’s general manager of marketing, Peter Russell, said it was a great way to bring the F&P experience to consumers.
“As they say, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, and there is no better way to showcase Fisher & Paykel’s premium cooking appliances than letting people actually get their hands dirty using them,” said Russell.
“Through our various alliances, tens of thousands of would-be Masterchefs around Australia are honing their culinary skills on our cooktops and ovens and are so chuffed with their results at the end, they’re asking where they can get our appliances to reproduce their performance at home.”

The Sauce Cooking School was established by local Toowoomba doctor Sharyn Donaldson, and has been set up in a heritage merchant granary building that has been fitted out with appliances including F&P’s CoolDrawer and 76cm Pyrolytic Ovens and cooktops.
“From the moment we first spoke with Sharyn we knew this was a woman who could make big things happen,” said Russell. “We couldn’t help but be infected by her incredible drive enthusiasm, and we’re very proud to be a part of this important new venture.”
