Officeworks has raised $1,000,496 for children’s health and education through its Make A Difference Appeal this year, with 14 local community organisations benefiting from the support.
In the month of June, Officeworks customers were encouraged to round up the cost of their purchase or make a direct contribution at the check-out in store or online.
Officeworks managing director, Sarah Hunter said, “Our annual Officeworks Make A Difference Appeal aims to support local causes and organisations close to our hearts by providing them with the resources they need to continue their important work in our local communities where we live and work.
“Together with our customers, our fundraising efforts will help make bigger things happen for Australian children and make a positive difference to our communities, right across the nation.”
Celebrating its fifth year, the Make A Difference Appeal is part of Officeworks’ People & Planet Positive Plan commitment to raising $5 million for local community causes by 2025. The initiative has raised a total of $4,357,455 to date.
